This sharp Grove GMK6300L belongs to Asiagroup from Singapore (SG) and was used for the assembly of the Demag CC 2800 of Yew Choon. It is a 300-tonne crane mounted on a 6-axle carrier.
Here was the crane used with the full counterweight of 92.5 tonnes. The outrigger base measures 8.7 x 8.5 meters.
The heaviest components to be lifted by the Grove are the tracks, each with a mass of 40 tonnes.
The seven-part main boom has a 15.58 meter base length and extends six times to a maximum length of 80 meters. Here is the main boom extended to a length of 36.81 meters.
After the lunch break is the crane relocated to another position on the construction site and is the crane used to lift counterweight slabs.
The 6-axle carrier is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 405 kW (551 hp). This crane has the optional 12 x 8 x 12-drive line, where the axles 1, 4, 5 and 6 are powered and all axles are steerable.
The crane was now used with 54.5 tonnes of counterweight, the counterweight has a 5.5 meter tailswing.
