This sharp Grove GMK6300L-1 belongs to Tiong Woon from Singapore (SG) and was used for the assembly of a Liebherr 1000 EC-H 40 Litronic tower crane. It is a 300-tonne crane mounted on a 6-axle carrier. The crane was left in the factory colours of Grove.
The 6-axle carrier is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 473 LA, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 430 kW (577 hp). The crane has a 12x6x12-drive line, where the axles 1, 4 and 5 are powered and all axles are steerable.
In transit is the crane 17.58 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters tall. The transport mass including the folding jib and 16.4 tonnes of counterweight is approx. 94 tonnes.
The superstructure is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 936 LA, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 210 kW (282 hp). The diesel engine powers the hydraulic pumps in the superstructure.
The cabin on the superstructure is 20 degrees tiltable.
The outrigger base measures 8.7 x 8.5 meters, of half 8.7 x 6.3 meters.
Here is the crane fitted with the full counterweight of 92.5 tonnes, the counterweight has a 5.5 meter tailswing. With this optional version of the counterweight is it possible to drive the crane with 16.4 tonnes of counterweight on the deck.
The crane has a 7-part main boom with a 15.6 meter base length that extends six times to a maximum length of 80 meters. Here is the main boom extened to a length of 42.1 meters. The main boom could be extended by a 12 - 21 meter long folding jib, which brings the crane next to the base section of the main boom.
Here was a Liebherr 1000 EC-H 40 Litronic tower crane assembled.
A sharp crane of Tiong Woon!
