Zwagerman VMT
Zwagerman VMT from Nederhorst den Berg (NL) is using this Grove RT625 on their own yard to lift boom sections of crawler cranes on the storage. It is a 25-tonne RT crane from the year of manufacture 1980.
The outrigger base measures 7 x 5.5 meters.
This crane is powered by a 10.4-liter Caterpillar 3208 8-cylinder diesel engine with 122 hp. The crane can achieve a driving speed of 37.3 km/h.
In transport configuration is the crane 12.2 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.6 meters high.
Attached to the superstructure is 2.585 tonnes of counterweight, that has a 3.5 meter tailswing. The crane is equipped with a 4-tonne hoist winch.
The 3-part main boom has a 9.8 meter base length and extends to a full length of 24.4 meters. A 7.9 / 14.6 meter long jib can be attached to the main boom, a maximum height of 39.6 meters can be achieved then.
On a job like this can the crane get old slowly.
