This sharp Hitachi KH180-3 belongs to Yew Choon from Singapore (SG). It is a 50-tonne crawler crane that was parked in the yard and wasn't used anymore.
The undercarriage of the crane is 5.52 meters long and 4.3 meters wide. For the transport over the road is the width to be reduced to 3.3 meters only. The tracks are 0.96 meters tall. The A-frame can be folded down for the transport over the road.
The crane is powered by a HINO EM100, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 110 kW (150 hp). The diesel engine powers in total three hydraulic pumps.
Attached to the superstructure is in total 15.9 tonnes of counterweight. The tailswing of the counterweight measures 4.05 meters.
The crane is fitted with two 10-tonne hoist winches.
The main boom has a 13 meter base length and can be extended in steps of 3 meters to a maximum length of 52 meters. Here was the crane fitted with a 22 meter long main boom. In this configuration is the crane able to hoist maximum 30.2 tonnes at 5.1 meter radius of 4.7 tonnes to a 22 meter radius.
In the meantime was this crane scrapped. A sharp crane of Yew Choon!
