This sharp Kobelco SL6000 belongs to Sin Heng from Singapore (SG) and stood erected at their yard. Shortly before was this crane revised and repainted and looked like new again. It is a 550-tonne cralwer crane.
The undercarriage is 9.9 meters wide and 11.49 meters long. Attached to the undercarriage is 50 tonnes of central counterweight, that is 25 tonnes per side.
The crane is powered by a Hino E13C-UV, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 320 kW. The diesel engine powers in total six hydraulic pumps.
The hoist winches are mounted in the boom foot of the main boom. The crane has two 14-tonne hoist winches, each fitted with a 28 mm hoist wire rope.
The tracks are each 11.49 meters long, 1.5 meters wide and 1.79 meters tall. The mass each is 40 tonnes.
Attached to the super structure is 120 tonnes of counterweight, that exists ouf of a 20-tonne base plate with a total of ten blocks with a 10-tonne mass. The tailswing of the counterweight is 8.3 meters.
The crane was fitted here in STD configuration. The main boom has a length of 36 meters, the maximum length is 84 meters.
Here are two hooks in operation, over the runner is it possible to lift maximum 14 tonnes. The large 120-tonne hook is reeved eight times and can be used to hoist maximum 107.5 tonnes.
The previous owner of this crane was Kim Heng from Singapore (SG), they were deploying this crane mainly from a large barge. Here was the crane fitted in HL-configuration, with a 30 meter superlift boom and a 66 meter main boom. A very sharp Kobelco SL6000!
