This beautiful Kobelco CKS800 belongs to ZAP Piling from Singapore (SG). The crawler crane is usually used as an auxiliary crane for foundation rigs. It is an 80-ton crawler crane built in 2021.
The crane is powered by a Hino J08E-VM, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 213 kW (285 hp). The diesel engine drives three hydraulic pumps.
The undercarriage is 6.28 meters long and 5.13 meters wide. For road transport, the width can be reduced to 3.5 meters. The tracks are 0.8 meters wide.
A total of 6.5 tons of central ballast is mounted on the undercarriage. One 3.25-ton block per side.
The crane is equipped with two 8-tonne hoist winches with 22 mm hoist wire rope.
The superstructure is fitted with a five-part counterweight, with a total weight of 27.2 tons. The ballast has a turning circle of 4.3 meters.
The main boom has a base length of 9.1 meters and can be extended in 3.05-meter increments to a maximum of 54.9 meters.
As usual, both hoists were in use. A fixed jib with a minimum length of 6.1 meters and a maximum length of 18.3 meters can also be optionally mounted on the main boom.
This crane was fitted with a 30.5-meter main boom. In this configuration, the crane can lift a maximum of 33 tonnes at a 6.8 meter radius or 5.7 tons at a 27.7 meter radius. A beautiful crane from ZAP Piling!
