Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 - Kim Soon Lee

Here was the sharp Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 of Kim Soon Lee from Singapore (SG) used to hoist tower crane components.

The crane is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 400 kW (544 hp). During the transport over the road are the axles 2, 4 and 5 powered. During crane operation is the superstructure powered by the diesel engine in the carrier.

The outrigger base measures 9.35 x 7.4 meters (front) and 8.1 meters (rear). This crane has VarioBase, where the crane based on the outrigger width, amount of counterweight, boom length and position of the superstructure is live calculating the lifting capacity.

The outrigger plates are stored in a frame at the rear of the chassis. Here was the crane fitted with the base counterweight of 12 tonnes on 5.73 meter tailswing.

Here was the crane used to hoist a Liebherr 24 HC 1000 climbing cage, this will be used on the Liebherr 710 HC-L 32/64 Litronic, that was installed in parallel by the Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 of Kim Soon Lee. The main boom is here extended to a length of 24.8 meters.

The base frame of the climbing cage (without platforms, but with hydraulics) has a mass of approx. 20 tonnes.

The climbing cage is loaded on a combination of Kim Soon Lee, pulled by a sharp Scania P 380. The cargo is 13.55 meters long, 3.36 meters wide and 3.85 meters tall.

In transit is the crane 16.54 meters long, 3 meters wide and 3.95 meters tall. The transport mass is approx. 80 tonnes. A very sharp crane of Kim Soon Lee!
