The beautiful Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 owned by Moh Seng from Singapore (SG) was to be used to lift a pair of pontoons. Here's the crane arriving at the construction site.
It remains a very impressive crane. During road transport, the crane is 23.3 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 4 meters high. The transport weight is approximately 142 tonnes.
The undercarriage is powered by an 8-cylinder Liebherr diesel engine with an output of 505 kW (686 hp). Axles 2, 3, 5, and 6 are driven; all axles are steerable. During assembly of the crane, the upper structure is also driven by the undercarriage for ballasting the crane. During operation, the crane is driven by the power pack integrated into the ballast support frame.
The X-shaped outrigger measures 12 x 12 meters, or half a meter x 9.9 meters.
Here, the crane was installed with its full 204-ton ballast; the turning radius of the ballast is 8.33 meters.
The four-section main boom has a base length of 16.3 meters and extends three times to a total length of 52 meters. Here, the main boom is extended to a length of 43.7 meters. The arms of the YSL guying system are each extended 10 degrees.
The crane had to lift several pontoons out of the water. I previously saw the same action at the same location by the Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 from Bok Seng.
The pontoons weigh approximately 52 tons.
The pontoons are loaded onto Yew Choon combinations, which deployed this beautiful MAN TGX 41.680 with a 9-axle modular trailer. Transport on public roads would not take place until the evening.
Meanwhile, the second pontoon has already been lifted out of the water.
A very beautiful crane in Moh Seng's colors. Unfortunately, this crane is no longer active in Singapore, but now works in Turkey.
