Here, the fine Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 of Moh Seng from Singapore (SG) was deployed to lift two heavy transformers. This operation took place in the city center near the well-known Orchard Road.

The first transformer, weighing 75 tons, was lifted at a radius of 23 meters and is shown here being loaded onto a combination operated by Yew Choon.

The LTM 1750-9.1 was set up on an open grassy area.

The outrigger base measures 12 x 12 meters.

Here, the crane was configured with the full counterweight of 204 tons; the counterweight has a slewing radius of 8.33 meters.

The old 75-tonne transformer is loaded onto a 6-axle modular trailer pulled by a Scania R 620.

The old one out – and the new one in. The other Scania R 620 of Yew Choon delivers the new transformer using the same type of combination.

The new transformer, weighing 60 tonnes, was picked up fairly quickly and lifted from the trailer.

The main boom is telescoped to a length of 43.7 meters; the arms of the YSL guying system are each deployed at an angle of 10 degrees.

This transformer also had to be lifted at a radius of 23 meters and installed on the same foundation as the old unit.

Once again, a fine operation!
