Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1
Peck Tiong Choon
This impressive Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 owned by Peck Tiong Choon from Singapore (SG) was deployed during night hours to lift generators for a data center. The crane was set up on a public road.
The crane is still in Liebherr’s standard colors. The outrigger base measures 10 x 9.6 meters.
The carrier of the LTM 1500-8.1 is powered by a Liebherr D9508 A7, an 8-cylinder diesel engine delivering 500 kW (680 hp). The diesel engine drives axles 1, 2, 4, and 5. Axles 1 to 4, 7, and 8 are steerable.
In transit, the crane measures 21.4 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 4 meters in height.
The crane was operated here with the full counterweight of 165 tons, which has a slewing radius of 6.6 meters.
The crane was equipped with a luffing jib and Y-guying system. The Y-guying arms were extended at an angle of 42 degrees each.
The crane was configured here with a 49-meter-long luffing jib on a 47.3-meter-long main boom. A very impressive crane from Peck Tiong Choon!
