Liebherr HS 855 HD - Trans-Euro
This sharp Liebherr HS 855 HS belongs to Trans-Euro from Singapore (SG) and stood parked at their yard. It is a 90-tonne heavy duty crawler crane.
The crane is powered by a Liebherr D 9509 A7, a 16.2-litre 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 450 kW (612 hp). The HS 855 HD could be fitted with 16, 20 or 25-tonne hoist winches.
The undercarriage is 6.46 meters long and 4.95 meters wide. For the transport over the road is it possible to reduce the width to 3.5 meters only. The track plates are 0.8 meters wide.
Attached to the superstructure is a seven part counterweight, the counterweight exists out of a 17.3 tonne base plate with six blocks of each 1.5 tonnes. The counterweight weights 26.3 tonnes and has a 4.7 meter tailswing. Optionally the counterweight can be increased to 32.3 tonnes and in total 7.5 tonnes of central counterweight can be mounted on the undercarriage.
The main boom has an 11 meter base length and has a maximum length of 62 meters.
Here is the crane fitted with a 26 meter main boom, in this configuration is the crane able to hoist maximum 54.3 tonnes at a 5 meter radius or 7.1 tonnes to a 26 meter radius. A very sharp crane of Trans-Euro!
