This Sany SCC500E was operated at a small yard in Singapore (SG). It is a 50-ton crawler crane built in 2009.

The crane is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 127 kW (170 hp). The diesel engine drives the hydraulic pumps.

The undercarriage is 5.82 meters long and 4.51 meters wide. For road transport, the width can be reduced to 3.36 meters.

A total of 18.5 tons of counterweight is mounted to the superstructure.

For road transport, the A-frame can be folded down.

The crane is equipped with two 6-ton winches, both of which are in use here. Each winch is fitted with a 20 mm hoist rope.

This crane was assembled here with a 34-meter main boom. In this configuration, the crane can lift a maximum of 16.26 tons at a 8.2-meter radius or 2.26 tons up to a 30-meter radius. The maximum boom length is 52 meters. An interesting Sany!
