This sharp Sumitomo SC 1500 of Stemat (today: Boskalis) from Dordrecht (NL) could be photographed in their yard. It is a 150-tonne crawler crane with year of manufacture 2005.
The undercarriage is 6.74 meters wide and 8.97 meters long. The tracks are 1.12 meters wide.
The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D22-T, an 11.1-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 186 kW (250 hp).
This crane was working from a barge and was mainly used of offshore jobs. The colours of the crane are the standard factory colours of Sumitomo.
The 23-part counterweight attached to the superstructure weights 67 tonnes and has a 6 meter tailswing.
The crane is fitted with two 13.5-tonne hoist winches, both using a 28 mm hoist wire rope.
Attached to the superstructure are the assembly cylinders so that the superstructure can be separated from the body without the need of an assist crane.
Attached to the undercarriage and tracks are additional counterweight slabs for additional stability.
The trucks habe a mass of 19.7 tonnes each.
Here has the main boom a length of 42.65 meters. In this configuration is the crane able to hoist maximum 64 tonnes on a 9 meter radius or 11.2 tonnes to a 38 meter radius.
The main boom has a maximum length of 82.3 meters. A very sharp and tough crane by Stemat!
