This sharp Tadano TG-500E from an unknown owner stood parked on a large parking area in Singapore (SG). It is a 50-tonne truck crane mounted on a 4-axle carrier.
The undercarriage is a Nissan Diesel KG56TXN. The carrier is powered by a Nissan RF8, a 17-litre 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 250 kW (340 hp). The carrier has an 8x4-drive line, where both axles are powered and both front axles are steerable.
The outrigger base measures 5.45 x 6.8 meters. Below the cabin is a fifth fixed jack mounted for the 360 degree load chart, without using this fifth jack has the crane a reach of total 215 degrees over the rear. During transport over the road are both hooks stored on the deck of the carrier.
The crane has a five-part main boom with a 10.65 meter bare length that extends four times to a maximum length of 40 meters. Optionally is it possible to extend the main boom by a 9 / 14.6 meter jib, the jib is mountable in an angle of 5, 25 or 45 degrees to the main boom.
In transit is the crane 12.96 meters long, 2.82 meters wide and 3.73 meters tall. The crane weights around 38.8 tonnes.
The counterweight is fixed to the superstructure. The crane is fitted with two 4-tonne hoist winches using 18 mm hoist wire rope which are here both in use.
A very interesting and sharp crane!
