Terex AC 700 - Aertssen

In 2009 was the Muiderbrug near Muiden (NL) extended and reinforced. For the construction of two tall pylons were heavy mobile cranes used, like this sharp Terex AC 700 of Aertssen from Stabroek (BE).

The AC 700 was here erected with a 50.5 meter long guyed main boom and a 36 meter luffing jib. The precast elements are approx. 5.1 meters tall and weights approx. 35 tonnes.

The Aertssen crane replaced on a short notice the AC 700 of Michielsens. That's why the outrigger pads and counterweight are orange.

The outrigger base measures 12.2 x 11.64 (front) and 12.36 (rear) meters.

The SSL superlift is opened 60 degrees.

Here was the crane used with 120 tonnes of counterweight, the full counterweight is 160 tonnes. The counterweight has a 7.5 meter tailswing.

The luffing jib has a 24 meter base length and can be extended in steps of six meters to a maximum length of 96 meters.

A very sharp crane and job by Aertssen!
