XCMG XGC400-1

Tiong Woon

Tiong Woon from Singapore (SG) deployed this interesting XCMG XGC400-1, a 400-ton crawler crane, for the installation of prefabricated concrete elements. The year of manufacture of the crane is 2021.

The luffing jib has a base length of 24 metres and can be extended in increments of 6 metres to a maximum length of 72 metres. Here, the luffing jib was 60 metres long.

The crane is powered by a Wechai WP12.460N, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 338 kW (453 hp). A total of 150 tons of ballast is mounted on the superstructure, the ballast has a slewing radius of 8.345 metres.

The undercarriage of the crane is 10.7 metres long and 8.5 metres wide. A total of 40 tons of central ballast is mounted on the undercarriage. Here, the main boom has a length of 42 metres.
