This XCMG QY50K of an unknown owner was parked on a large-vehicle parking area in Singapore (SG). It is a 50-ton crane mounted on a 4-axle carrier from model year 2008.

In transport configuration, the crane is 13.1 meters long, 2.75 meters wide, and 3.35 meters high. The total weight of the crane is approximately 39.4 tons.

This crane is powered by a Cummins QSL8.9-C325, an 8.9-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 239 kW (325 hp). The carrier features an 8x4 drive configuration, with both rear axles driven and both front axles steerable.

The outrigger base of the crane measures 5.65 x 6.6 meters.

The five-section main boom has a base length of 10.7 meters and telescopes in four stages to a maximum length of 40.1 meters. Optionally, the main boom can be extended with an 8.5 / 15-meter jib, which can be mounted to the main boom at angles of 0, 15, or 30 degrees.

The counterweight is fixed to the superstructure. The crane is equipped as standard with two hoist winches, both of which are in operation here.

An interesting crane!
