Attached to the superstructure is a counterweight of 13.5 tonnes, the counterweight has a 4.05 meter tailswing.
A very sharp detail on the Zeppelin-cranes is that the main boom is with pendant ropes fixed to the winch box which is adjust in angle by a hydraulic cylinder.
The ZT 400 could be equiped with a choice of four different winches, between a 7.5 and 13 tonne line pull, with and without free-fall options.
