Scania R 730 - Trans-Euro
This sharp Scania R 730 belongs to Trans-Euro from Sham Alam (MY) and came to Singapore (SG) to deliver a base machine of a large drilling rig. The combination exists out of a 3-axle truck with a 4-axle low loader.
The truck has a 6x4-drive line that is powered by a Scania DC16, a 16.4-litre 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 537 kW (730 hp).
It is also possible to equip this truck with a ballast box to pull heavy trailers. Therefore are quick-couplings made on the chassis. This truck is fitted with a cardanic fifth-wheel.
Behind the cabin is the frame mounted with the large diesel tank. Behind the front axle are the muffler, AdBlue tank and a storage compartment made.
The coupling attached to the front bumper can be used to push trailers.
Here was a 4-axle Goldhofer low loader attached. The trailer is modulair and is composed out of a goosenack, a 160-tonne bridge and a 4-axle module.
The cargo is the base machine of a Bauer BG 30 drilling rig. The machine is about 17 meters long, 3.27 meters wide and 3.5 meters tall. The transport mass is approx. 58 tonnes. The rig is loaded onto the side extensions, because the bridge with a height of 50 cm, is to tall for the free space (34 cm) below the base machine.
